About
Tokonatsu is hosted at the Boyd Campsite and Activity Centre, a 12-acre outdoor facility located in Henlow, Bedfordshire, bordering Hertfordshire, dedicated to Scouting, guiding, and youth groups. It's about 40 miles due-North from London.
Donated by Lord Boyd of Merton to Biggleswade and District Scouts, it is primarily designed for scouting and youth group activities.
The Boyd Campsite and Activity Centre has been the the loving home of Tokonatsu since 2013.

On-Site Amenities
Toilets & Showers
You can refresh yourselves daily by taking advantage of the on-site shower and toilet facilities. The site has a permenant split single-sex toilet and showering block located at the top-end of the residential camping field.
In order to minmise waiting times and to honour the heartfelt desire to remain feeling human we hire in an additional unisex portable showing unit which features more spacious additional showers for our attendees to enjoy, situated next to main operations in the car park.
Parking
We have several parking options available to our attendees at different price points and accessability levels as detailed in the sections below.
In light of the limited nature of on-site spaces and in the interest of the environment, we would like to ask all attendee's to consider car sharing or public transport where-ever possible.
Please note, users of any of these car parks do so at their own risk. Tokonatsu will not accept liability for any accidental damage, theft or loss incurred through acts of third parties.
Tokonatsu On-Site Parking
We have a limited 70 standard car parking spaces available for purchase to our attendees and is open 24/7. These are available for purchase as an add-on as part of your registration, dependant on the remaining availability for a flat rate of £15 for your ticket duration.
Disabled Parking Spaces are available for registered blue badge holders only. To obtain a disabled parking space, please purchase a standard parking space as an add-on to your registration and then select the option to change the space into a disabled parking bay. These will be verified as part of your registration on the day.
Important Notice - We have unfortunately run out of on-site parking spaces for Tokonatsu 2026. Please look to instead use our other available parking solutions.
Drop Off Parking
We are looking to trial Drop-Off Parking for Tokonatsu 2026! This is to allow you a chance to unload your camping gear, a chance to setup, and then be able to move your car to one of the other car parks listed below.
The drop-off area will be within the primary campsite car park. You will be able to secure your drop off slot by adding the additional item to your order. You can also modify an existing order to add your drop-off time slot.
You will be able to select your 1 hour slot, for either Thursday at 3pm - 8pm, and Friday 11am - 8pm. This will grant you and the people with you access to drop off your camping gear, and get setup. This includes people who are not coming to the event too. Once you park in our designated bay, you will proceed to the drop-off tent for your group to receive a wrist bands that will allow you directly on to the field. You do not need to pass through Registrations. Once you have dropped off what you need, you can proceed to the nearest car park, or the driver can leave. You will then need to make your way to Registrations as normal.
Henlow Bridge Lakes Parking
If you rent a pitch, cabin, lodge or pod with our neighbouring partner, Henlow Bridge Lakes, you'll be allotted one free parking space. Further spaces for those staying at Henlow Bridge Lakes can be purchased at a cost of £5 per night. These cars are able to enter and leave at will as the car park is open 24/7.

Arlesley & Henlow Train Station Parking
Arlesley & Henlow Train Station Car Park is owned and managed by Britannia Parking, which sports a total of 358 car parking spaces and is open 24/7. This is a 15-20min walk from the Tokonatsu campsite.
The car parking rates are as follows:
- Daily - £4.90 (arrival before 10am, ends midnight)
- Daily Off Peak - £3.60 (arrival after 10 am, ends midnight)
- Weekends & B/H - Free
To avoid confusion and save money, we recommend making the booking online on the Britannia Parking website (link below) as this removes the ending at midnight restriction, giving you a full 24 hours per day instead.
This means an early access Thursday to Monday ticket is available for as little as £9.80 while a standard Friday to Monday ticket will cost as little as £4.90.

Tokonatsu Food Court
As in previous years, the Tokonatsu Food Court will host a number of food vendors throughout the event, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks.

Special Requirements
If you plan to attend the event and have any special requirements that are required to be fulfilled in relation issues of health or mobility, please contact us as soon as possible so we can attempt to accommodate as best as possible. Due to the nature of the event however, please be mindful that we may be limited to what we can do.
